I believe the government should not intrude into my life or my business affairs. Individuals should be free to make choices for themselves and to accept responsibility for the consequences of the choices they make. I must accept the right of others to choose for themselves if I am to have the same right. The support of an individual's right to make choices in life does not mean that I necessarily approve or disapprove of those choices.  I believe people must accept personal responsibility for the consequences of their actions.

 

I believe the free markets have proven to work best in the long run and government regulation ultimately hurts America and Americans. I believe the government should not be subsidizing private companies or commodities.

 

I believe individuals have the right to engage or abstain from religious activities and the government should truly adhere to a strict separation of church and State.

 

I believe it to be an inalienable right to defend myself, my family, and my property with any means necessary against harm or theft. I also believe the second amendment clearly states that an armed citizenry is an essential element to a free society.

 

I believe the government should not be in the business of licensing marriage and also denying the rights and privileges of individuals - including on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.

 

I believe the government's "War on Drugs" is perverse, corrupt, and ineffectual. I wish the government would repeal all laws that infringe upon the rights of  individuals to ingest what they wish into their own bodies and further wish the government would abide by the Fourth Amendment!

 

I believe our Federal government continually entangles us in foreign affairs where we have no right to be. We are not the Earth's police force! The government should adopt a non-intervention policy quickly.
