MIAMI – In just the first few hours of March 1, the Libertarian Party of Florida surpassed 10 percent of its goal for March’s Level Up LPF fundraiser.

By 5 p.m., $2,990 of the $27,000 goal was raised. The achievement was a terrific first step to a steep hill according to Marc Golob, chairman of the LPF Fundraising Committee.

“The dedication and support Libertarians have for the success of their party can be amazing,” Golob said Friday. “This is a terrific start, but it is just a start. I know the momentum will grow.”

#LevelUpLPF targets the following goals in 2019 and 2020:

> Level Up The Ballot – Put more LPF candidates before the voters in 2020.
> Level Up The Message – Reach more members, more Florida voters and more media outlets.
> Level Up The Impact – Promote 2020 Ballot Amendments consistent with Libertarian values.

Top fundraisers among LPF County Affiliates and Regional Representatives will be honored at the LPF Annual Convention and Business Meeting in May. Throughout March, the #LevelUpLPF Team will offer tips, support and inspiration. Friday, both Golob and Larry Sharpe, Libertarian National Party activist and past candidate for New York State Governor, urged the public to contribute to the voice of liberty in Florida.

“We have to win the hearts and minds of Florida so we can win the hearts and minds of the entire nation: we can do that, this month, March” said Sharpe.
