Mission

To present the ideas of liberty clearly, as the party ascribes to and is held accountable for, and to develop a platform that unifies and directs the LPF.

The committee reviews, summarizes, and drafts LPF policy on proposed legislation during the session. Members typically review and report on one or two bills per week, aiming to inform the Florida electorate. The chair distributes legislative "homework" to each member on a weekly basis.

Committee Goal

The committee aims to develop the LPF’s principles and message, consistent with libertarian ideas, and to present proposed changes and additions to the Party Platform at the Annual Business Meeting.

We focus on legislation that affects the liberties and freedoms of Floridians, identifying both harmful and favorable bills. Our goal is to provide critical information to the electorate, aiding in legislative awareness and action. We also contribute to writing legislation and identifying political figures who oppose or support liberty-focused legislation.
